
Arsalan Shahzad, MD earned his medical degree from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Piscataway, New Jersey. He stayed on as Chief Resident and a Clinical Instructor before beginning his specialty training. He completed his Nuclear Cardiology Fellowship at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University in New York. Dr. Shahzad then went on to do his Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at Lahey Clinic in Boston, Massachusetts.
Dr. Shahzad has experience in both coronary interventions and peripheral interventions including Patent Forament Ovale (PFO) and Atrial Septal Defect closure devices.
Dr. Shahzad is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Nuclear Cardiology and has written several publications.
